In the 38th play minute Leonardo Varela came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jeremy Lane. 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in FalconsB FCB's zone, Leonardo Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Li Wen Mo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremy Lane was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Itajaí Football Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
