Marshrose's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FalconsB FCB the free kick. Karl-Johan Mattsson had several of the Marshrose's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Royce Rodriquez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jeremy Lane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilber Padgett's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Maximiliano Victoro's late challenge caught a Marshrose's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FalconsB FCB's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
