Beto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilber Padgett in the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sammie Laderoute got free with Beto Teixeira in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilber Padgett in the 14th minute of play forced Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Beto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Marshrose getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Baldomero Rufo hit a great ball. Royce Rodriquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho de Salles in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Desilets got free with Beto Teixeira in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Itajaí Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Itajaí Football Club's Marcelinho de Salles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Royce Rodriquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Marshrose's zone, Marcelinho de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Royce Rodriquez came out of the goal and Marcelinho de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Itajaí Football Club's Beto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Desilets in the 65th minute of play. Marshrose's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Homer Childers in the 71st minute. The corner ended in Homer Childers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Itajaí Football Club's Beto Teixeira did a great save. Gaston Sadurni charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Sadurni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marshrose's Royce Rodriquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Marshrose from getting a goal against them. Itajaí Football Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
