In the 11th minute Darwin Núñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostadin Milov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Llorienzo was a little too slow when Oskar Kupits got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-1. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Merengue FC from getting a goal against them. Kostadin Milov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Oskar Kupits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The referee showed Darwin Núñez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Merengue FC played a much better game than Siwox Fc and deserved their victory. The Siwox Fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
