Benjamin Erruki made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rıfat Usbey immediately put the ball in play. If Timos Kazantzou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to AKINCILAR DeLiLeR getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Benjamin Erruki hit a great ball. When Kılıçhan Yalım fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKINCILAR DeLiLeR's protests and gave Kılıçhan Yalım a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, one of AKINCILAR DeLiLeR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AKINCILAR DeLiLeR. After a long run with the ball, Timos Kazantzou did a trick in the 27th minute in front of AKINCILAR DeLiLeR's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-3. An impressive performance by BAŞBUĞ's Timos Kazantzou! In the 30th minute Timos Kazantzou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Abascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of BAŞBUĞ booed when AKINCILAR DeLiLeR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Erruki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristides Abascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timos Kazantzou, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Tavgaç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timos Kazantzou might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Abascal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timos Kazantzou ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timos Kazantzou in the 55th minute of play forced AKINCILAR DeLiLeR's goalkeeper Aristides Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Timos Kazantzou made a precise shot to the right of Aristides Abascal. AKINCILAR DeLiLeR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Timos Kazantzou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Hüseyin Can Orak replaced Timos Kazantzou. BAŞBUĞ's Hernan Oroitz was substituted for İlyas Tolga Kerimhan. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Şerif Attaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKINCILAR DeLiLeR's supporters rose to their feet, but Şerif Attaroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Recio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, AKINCILAR DeLiLeR's goalkeeper Aristides Abascal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hüseyin Can Orak. Romain Van Achteren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Aristides Abascal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the AKINCILAR DeLiLeR defense, Hernan Oroitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Abascal. The AKINCILAR DeLiLeR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Abascal should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Hernan Oroitz could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Aristides Abascal however easily saved by the left post. AKINCILAR DeLiLeR's Luís Gustavo da Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şerif Attaroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BAŞBUĞ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
