Gian Weidt came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by BAŞBUĞ's Timos Kazantzou. But to his dismay, Timos Kazantzou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marco Recio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 21 minutes, Timos Kazantzou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BAŞBUĞ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timos Kazantzou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Angelsø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Marco Recio made a huge save. In the 26th minute BAŞBUĞ were awarded a corner. Götz Ferdi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led BAŞBUĞ's Götz Ferdi to fire away a dangerous shot which Gian Weidt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marco Recio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Xavier in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the BAŞBUĞ defense, Tadeu Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Recio. The BAŞBUĞ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Recio should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute Timos Kazantzou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gian Weidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timos Kazantzou in the 34th minute of play forced Giovana F C's goalkeeper Gian Weidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Arda Baybars Salik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeu Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marco Recio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, BAŞBUĞ's Timos Kazantzou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gian Weidt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, BAŞBUĞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Götz Ferdi to maneuver through the defense. BAŞBUĞ's Marco Recio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Xavier in the 40th minute of play. Giovana F C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jorginho Zanette in the 41st minute. After taking down the ball on Giovana F C's corner Jorginho Zanette fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Recio quite easily take care of the ball. Eusébio Angelsø hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Angelsø to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Xavier in the 51st minute of play forced BAŞBUĞ's goalkeeper Marco Recio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovana F C's Gian Weidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Giovana F C from getting a goal against them. Marco Recio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Hernan Oroitz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gian Weidt, 1-2. After 79 played minutes BAŞBUĞ got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Can Orak. In the 80th minute of the match Jorginho Zanette sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Recio skillfully saved the ball. Giovana F C's Gian Weidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Can Orak in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
