In the 14th match minute, LeRoeulx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Verdonk to maneuver through the defense. Götz Ferdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quillian De Messemaekere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the LeRoeulx defense, Timos Kazantzou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quillian De Messemaekere. The LeRoeulx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quillian De Messemaekere should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, LeRoeulx's Quillian De Messemaekere got control of the ball when Timos Kazantzou tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Timos Kazantzou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Artuur Verhengen's late challenge caught a BAŞBUĞ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artuur Verhengen helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes LeRoeulx got a freekick which was hit by Artuur Verhengen. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
