The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Dimitris Keratzoglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Mero. Dimitris Keratzoglou made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Robert Stecher sent off a good shot on target. Robert Stecher scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitris Keratzoglou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Green Hell F.C.'s Charis Pomonis got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Christoph Hambloch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimitris Keratzoglou. Green Hell F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christoph Hambloch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Nikos Kakratsas put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Green Hell F.C.'s Nikos Kakratsas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Börje Blom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Dimitris Keratzoglou when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of TIGER booed when Green Hell F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lefteris Boniatis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Tibor Riedel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TIGER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Riedel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Green Hell F.C.'s Dimitris Keratzoglou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Green Hell F.C. from getting a goal against them. Börje Blom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitris Keratzoglou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Hambloch in the 37th minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Dimitris Keratzoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christoph Hambloch came free, but Dimitris Keratzoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Keratzoglou was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Börje Blom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Charis Pomonis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Green Hell F.C.'s zone, Christoph Hambloch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Keratzoglou came out of the goal and Christoph Hambloch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes of play, Green Hell F.C.'s Kleon Logarakis made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Vasconcelos was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Blom made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Robert Stecher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Green Hell F.C. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Charis Pomonis hit a great ball. Dimitris Keratzoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Blom in the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Green Hell F.C.'s Lefteris Boniatis got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Börje Blom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TIGER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. In the 74th minute, Börje Blom made a precise shot to the right of Dimitris Keratzoglou. Green Hell F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. Marios Kareklidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, TIGER's goal looked a bit too open when Marios Kareklidis came free, but Dida Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TIGER fans cheered their team off the field, for while Green Hell F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
