The New Pi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Dalens Darlings booed when New Pi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Frisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes got control of the ball when Adam Hajduk tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Jakob Pihlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Marcelo Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Biörnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Axel Bollström got free with Zé Paulo Mendes in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 played minutes New Pi got a freekick which was hit by Gastón Turuk. Dalens Darlings's Evert Kielberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for New Pi. 32 minutes into the match, Dalens Darlings's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Cordeiro came free, but Adam Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes New Pi got a freekick which was hit by Matías Godoy. Adam Biörnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Cordeiro in the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Marcelo Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Pi's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Goito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Biörnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the game, Marcelo Goito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Adam Biörnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 52nd minute Urbano Mas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Hajduk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Paulo Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Urbano Mas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalens Darlings's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Mas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Adam Hajduk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Paulo Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Hajduk in the 71st minute of play forced New Pi's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Pi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Axel Bollström in the 79th minute of play. Adam Biörnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Goito in the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Adam Hajduk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalens Darlings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Hajduk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Axel Bollström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched New Pi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
