Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fulgencio Gartzi kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind New Pi's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 5 minutes New Pi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alessio Scandella who took care of the corner kick. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by New Pi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alessio Scandella was slow to take the kick. During this time La Gallardeta's players had a chance to rest. Zé Paulo Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jan-Olof Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Gallardeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Olof Eliasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Paulo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Pi's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute Cayetano Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Olof Eliasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Paulo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 20th minute of play. Marcelo Goito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Belchior Saldanha having to make a save. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save La Gallardeta from getting a goal against them. After 25 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Abechuco. The throw-in from Sebastian Abechuco in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New Pi's Szczepan Mitus. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Fulgencio Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Gallardeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Gartzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Shaun Jackson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Paulo Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute La Gallardeta were awarded a corner. Alessio Scandella went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Alessio Scandella almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes did a great save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The audience was convinced that Marcelo Goito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belchior Saldanha was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Marcelo Goito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Belchior Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when New Pi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Artizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Fulgencio Gartzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Goito in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Paulo Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Paulo Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Gartzi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of New Pi's Zé Paulo Mendes. Zé Paulo Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Paulo Mendes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fulgencio Gartzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 75 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Sebastian Abechuco in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by New Pi's Szczepan Mitus. Fulgencio Gartzi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Zé Paulo Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Gallardeta. Zé Paulo Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by New Pi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alessio Scandella was slow to take the kick. During this time La Gallardeta's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alessio Scandella got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Paulo Mendes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Szczepan Mitus hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The La Gallardeta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Gallardeta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
