Johannes Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Hajduk in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Urbano Mas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Dalens Darlings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Hajduk to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dalens Darlings getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Karl-Axel Bollström hit a great ball. Gnuville BK's Johannes Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Hajduk in the 8th minute of play. Johannes Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Bollström in the 11th minute of play. Harry Berg's late challenge caught a Dalens Darlings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Berg helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Gnuville BK got a freekick which was hit by Harry Berg. 14 minutes into the game, Dalens Darlings's Evert Kielberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johannes Söderström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Hajduk in the 17th minute of play forced Gnuville BK's goalkeeper Johannes Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Vidar Ödmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Biörnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gnuville BK's Johannes Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Mas in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Dalens Darlings's Adam Hajduk made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johannes Söderström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 29 minutes, Torgny Bergfeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gnuville BK and the Dalens Darlings players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Karl-Axel Bollström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Dalens Darlings's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Bergfeldt came free, but Adam Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Axel Bollström, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes, Rickard Sandström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gnuville BK and the Dalens Darlings players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rickard Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Urbano Mas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Dalens Darlings's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Bergfeldt came free, but Adam Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Åke Olsmann kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Urbano Mas might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Söderström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Mas ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Drake made a kick off. Linus Ek hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gnuville BK's Johannes Söderström got control of the ball when Evert Kielberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dalens Darlings's Adam Biörnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Drake in the 55th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Johannes Söderström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Gnuville BK defense, Urbano Mas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johannes Söderström. The Gnuville BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johannes Söderström should have stopped the shot. Adam Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Bergfeldt in the 69th minute of play. Adam Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes Dalens Darlings got a freekick which was hit by Evert Kielberg. Dalens Darlings made a substitution. Jakob Pihlberg replaced Felix Engström. Evert Kielberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Dalens Darlings's Karl-Axel Bollström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johannes Söderström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Dalens Darlings's Adam Biörnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Drake in the 78th minute of play. George Drake scored 2-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Biörnberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adam Hajduk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Pihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbano Mas in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johannes Söderström saved Gnuville BK from getting behind. Johannes Söderström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Hajduk in the 87th minute. Johannes Söderström made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Karl-Axel Bollström sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Gnuville BK's Håkan Billström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Håkan Billström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gnuville BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Håkan Billström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Gnuville BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dalens Darlings:s goal. Dalens Darlings's Adam Biörnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Ödmann in the 97th minute of play. The Dalens Darlings supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dalens Darlings would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
