UFC Veseud's Robert Dinamite got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Robert Dinamite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cántaro Viladrosa in the 15th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Alex Teodoroiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dinu Cănănău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Véber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Beloki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabin Ghionescu in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute UFC Veseud were awarded a corner. Jörgen Skoog went to the cornerflag to take it. UFC Veseud's Jörgen Skoog was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Generoso Beloki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Dinamite got free with Generoso Beloki in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dinu Cănănău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Véber in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Dinamite in the 34th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute of the match, Dan Muscaș tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Generoso Beloki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Dinamite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. UFC Veseud's Dinu Cănănău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Véber in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, UFC Veseud's Alex Teodoroiu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Curcio Alonso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dinu Cănănău showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Dinamite in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Beloki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64thth minute of the game Paul Geeraerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UFC Veseud's Dinu Cănănău was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Muscaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Generoso Beloki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vodka Stars 1949's Martin Batalla was substituted for Erik Véber. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Muscaș in the 70th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vodka Stars 1949's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. During this time UFC Veseud's players had a chance to rest. 78 minutes into the game, Edmundo London was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vodka Stars 1949's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Veseud the free kick. A collision led to Vodka Stars 1949 getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Generoso Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Encea in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Robert Dinamite notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki. Generoso Beloki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the game, UFC Veseud's Dan Muscaș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Beloki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 92nd minute, Paul Geeraerts made a precise shot to the right of Dinu Cănănău. UFC Veseud's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Generoso Beloki came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by UFC Veseud's Robert Dinamite. But to his dismay, Robert Dinamite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.
