When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jaime Tabor sped through GRÊMIO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sergio Goicoechea. Farid Verrecchia struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Sergio Goicoechea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Le Stade Briochin UC.
