Vladimiro Costante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19 minutes of play, GRÊMIO's Abel Pirani made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Costante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladimiro Costante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 史挺南 in the 25th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Mazza hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes, Salvador Peio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naboonga OFF and the GRÊMIO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vladimiro Costante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After a defensive mix-up in Naboonga OFF's zone, 史挺南 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Costante came out of the goal and 史挺南 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Naboonga OFF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GRÊMIO were winning 1-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 史挺南 made a kick off. Vladimiro Costante was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abel Pirani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 51 minute of play. Sergio Goicoechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmir Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, GRÊMIO's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Bartolome came free, but Sergio Goicoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naboonga OFF's Vladimiro Costante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Pinheiro in the 82nd minute of play. Vladimiro Costante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The supporters of GRÊMIO booed when Naboonga OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded GRÊMIO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Naboonga OFF.
