The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Schönberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gabon Salantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cresitobalo Rilo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cusco FC's Johan Schönberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Perrando in the 38th minute of play. Uriel Cayo made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Baldomero Perrando however managed to control. In the 46th minute Baldomero Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Schönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Perrando to strike the kick off in the second half. Gabon Salantes kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match.
