The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miguel Tristan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Cristiano Leggeri came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Medoacus Maior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Leggeri couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Tristan in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eraldo Cannone saved Luponero FC from getting behind. If Miguel Tristan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, Luponero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Tristan came free, but Eraldo Cannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Amerigo Oddi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute Miguel Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Cannone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Roman Kon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute Miguel Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Cannone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Roman Kon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Miguel Tristan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luponero FC's Eraldo Cannone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Cristiano Leggeri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Luponero FC's Eraldo Cannone. Eraldo Cannone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Miguel Tristan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Medoacus Maior's goal looked a bit too open when Ignaz Ecke came free, but Biagio Tolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luponero FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Medoacus Maior's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roman Kon took the corner. Melvin Eschendaal kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute Miguel Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Cannone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eraldo Cannone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corrado Piscopo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Cannone having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Kon in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Biagio Tolin saved Medoacus Maior from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Tristan in the 64th minute of play forced Luponero FC's goalkeeper Eraldo Cannone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biagio Tolin came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Luponero FC's Roman Kon. But to his dismay, Roman Kon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Eraldo Cannone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Tristan in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Miguel Tristan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luponero FC's Eraldo Cannone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 played minutes Luponero FC got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Oddi. Medoacus Maior made a substitution. Fausto Fontanive replaced Cristiano Leggeri. After a rather tough play, Luponero FC's Amerigo Oddi got a free kick in the 78th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Luponero FC's goalkeeper Eraldo Cannone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Tristan. Fausto Fontanive received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eraldo Cannone came out and tried to block the shot, but Fausto Fontanive slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 82nd minute. Diego Barresi struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Eraldo Cannone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medoacus Maior. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Fontanive got free with Eraldo Cannone in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 86 played minutes Fausto Fontanive rounded Luponero FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. Ignaz Ecke struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Biagio Tolin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luponero FC. Medoacus Maior were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Luponero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arrigo Tolin took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Diego Barresi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Eraldo Cannone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Miguel Tristan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Medoacus Maior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Medoacus Maior walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
