Juan Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignaz Ecke in the 22nd minute of the match. Juan Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignaz Ecke in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Ignaz Ecke came free, but Juan Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Tadzio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Eraldo Cannone when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Fidel Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignaz Ecke scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Estevez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Academia 1903's Juan Estevez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignaz Ecke in the 43rd minute of play. Academia 1903's Placido Garin got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Academia 1903 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luponero FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Achille Molinaro was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Ignaz Ecke recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Estevez. Ignaz Ecke showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After having played for 54 minutes, Amerigo Oddi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luponero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerigo Oddi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eraldo Cannone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Tadzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Academia 1903's zone, Roman Kon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Estevez came out of the goal and Roman Kon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Ignaz Ecke put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Juan Estevez. Achille Molinaro came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juan Estevez could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Achille Molinaro put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Juan Estevez. In the 72nd minute, Abel Lartaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignaz Ecke in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Siro Orlanda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eraldo Cannone skillfully saved the ball. After 82 played minutes Academia 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Pero. The audience thought a goal was coming when Achille Molinaro got free with Juan Estevez in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Academia 1903's Juan Estevez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Academia 1903 from getting a goal against them. Ignaz Ecke kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Achille Molinaro took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Juan Estevez to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Molinaro in the 91st minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Juan Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achille Molinaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Estevez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8.
