Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elpidio Francis got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Bernardo de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguinho Sergipano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Francis went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Elpidio Francis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiaguinho Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Tiaguinho Sergipano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Francis went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Elpidio Francis kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Tiaguinho Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Bem Bolado got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Favoretto. Elpidio Francis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiaguinho Sergipano having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Tiaguinho Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Bem Bolado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petrică Măcriș took the corner. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Petrică Măcriș was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiaguinho Sergipano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 29 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiaguinho Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 38 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Dalmu. 40 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magno das Neves. Bernardo de Senna hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Elpidio Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amílton Favoretto got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cláudio Donatello. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. Aristides Asteri replaced Arnaldo Gabon. The wind increased when Magno das Neves made the kick off in the second half. If André Monclús had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiaguinho Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Monclús, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiaguinho Sergipano made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Monclús in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, André Monclús made a precise shot to the right of Tiaguinho Sergipano. Bem Bolado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. André Monclús took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiaguinho Sergipano. Tiaguinho Sergipano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 66th minute of the game Amílton Favoretto made a throw-in which Cláudio Donatello played forward. 67 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo de Senna came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bem Bolado getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ernani Barral hit a great ball. In the 71stth minute of the game André Monclús who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bem Bolado's Tiaguinho Sergipano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiaguinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Monclús in the 74th minute of the match. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiaguinho Sergipano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as André Monclús kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiaguinho Sergipano. That made the score 0-8 in the 84 minute of play. André Monclús sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Petrică Măcriș got a free kick in the 97th minute. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
