Kacper Gamza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Geleberto in the 5th minute of the match. Kacper Gamza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Geleberto in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute Alfredo Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Gamza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gimnasia y tiro's Alfredo Geleberto got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Endre Szentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Lodowy in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Geleberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kacper Gamza was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Alfredo Geleberto put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kacper Gamza. Kacper Gamza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esben Nordborg, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Geleberto in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kacper Gamza saved Gotham City from getting behind. Alfredo Geleberto took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kacper Gamza. Kacper Gamza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A collision led to Gimnasia y tiro getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Esben Nordborg hit a great ball. Gimnasia y tiro made a substitution. Luisito Eguntsenti replaced Victoriano Ubelteso. After 49 played minutes Gimnasia y tiro got a freekick which was hit by Esben Nordborg. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cyryl Lodowy to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goalkeeper Kacper Gamza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Mouricio. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Gotham City. Stasio Gdowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wieslaw Panasewicz. 1-3. Kacper Gamza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Montrelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Esben Nordborg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 63rd playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Gotham City's zone, Reynaldo Montrelle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kacper Gamza came out of the goal and Reynaldo Montrelle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gotham City's goalie and right to Basilio Guillem. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gotham City's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Reynaldo Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kacper Gamza having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Montrelle in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kacper Gamza saved Gotham City from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Montrelle came free, but Kacper Gamza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Kacper Gamza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 85th minute Gimnasia y tiro were awarded a corner. Esben Nordborg went to the cornerflag to take it. 91 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Montrelle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kacper Gamza. Reynaldo Montrelle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Gotham City's Izydor Gierlach was substituted for Dominik Noworolnik. Gimnasia y tiro played a much better game than Gotham City and deserved their victory. The Gotham City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
