In the 13th minute of the game, Divina Comédia FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Zhuang Shi Ting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Steven in the 16th minute of play. If Eliézer Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliézer Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Blair McCormick made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Eliézer Cavalcante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Blair McCormick, 2-0. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Taquaral Campineiro's goalkeeper Blair McCormick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Divina Comédia FC's Eliézer Cavalcante came free and shot a quick shot against goal 24 minutes in the game, fortunately Blair McCormick had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Taquaral Campineiro's Blair McCormick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Taquaral Campineiro from getting a goal against them. Matheus Figueiredo's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matheus Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Matheus Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th match minute, Taquaral Campineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Leme to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Eliézer Cavalcante took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Blair McCormick to make any attempt to save it. Blair McCormick was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Eliézer Cavalcante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliézer Cavalcante really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, Eliézer Cavalcante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blair McCormick. Taquaral Campineiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliézer Cavalcante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 41st minute, Armando Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Eliézer Cavalcante made a precise shot to the right of Blair McCormick. Taquaral Campineiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Luisito Pistolelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Blair McCormick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geraldo de Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Eliézer Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair McCormick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Eliézer Cavalcante sped through Taquaral Campineiro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Blair McCormick. In the 63rd minute, Eliézer Cavalcante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Divina Comédia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 66thth minute of the game Eliézer Cavalcante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taquaral Campineiro's Blair McCormick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo de Godoi came free, but Zhuang Shi Ting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Divina Comédia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan França to maneuver through the defense. Divina Comédia FC made a substitution. Zé Paulo Siqueira replaced Silvinho Mangueira. After 86 played minutes Divina Comédia FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan França. When Divina Comédia FC's Eliézer Cavalcante in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
