Luciano Ondino came free in the 17th minute and tried to tip the ball over Nicolas Castro, but to the joy of Olímpico Blumenau FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. In the 18th minute Isaltino Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borek Borok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
