Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Renato Saraiva made the kick off which started today's match. Cléberson Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Jay Jowsey made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Santana got free with Jay Jowsey in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute of the match Galo do Japi got a corner. Attard Gunners's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cafu Ringaa ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Cléberson Lara managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jay Jowsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galo do Japi's Ahmet Demir managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Neville Ciscaldi in the 13 minute of the game. After 20 minutes Galo do Japi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godwin Sapiano who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Santana got free with Jay Jowsey in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Ahmet Demir got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Sebastian Ekelund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldo Giovanelli. Galo do Japi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Ekelund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cléberson Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Caca-Rato to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Sebastian Ekelund notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli. Ronaldo Giovanelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Belmiro Caca-Rato hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Attard Gunners were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Galo do Japi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Sebastian Ekelund scored to the left of an out of position Ronaldo Giovanelli, making the score, 0-4. Jay Jowsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Attard Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Xerri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Renato Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay Jowsey having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Saraiva came free, but Jay Jowsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute Sokratis Krak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Jowsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Ekelund came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sokratis Krak in the 84th minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Jay Jowsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Ekelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Cafu Ringaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attard Gunners made a substitution. Adrian Savona replaced Alan Said. Attard Gunners's Michael Testaferrata Olivier was substituted for Sebastian Ekelund. The supporters of Attard Gunners booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Ringaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Galo do Japi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Attard Gunners's performance. The match ended with a win for Attard Gunners.
