Loren Prats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Esterházy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosmo Abegg came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru. But to his dismay, Mihail Pânzaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Umbach came free, but Loren Prats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Felix Umbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loren Prats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulfa FSV's Cosmo Abegg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 19th minute of play. Loren Prats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Esterházy in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Mihail Pânzaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmo Abegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Mihail Pânzaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosmo Abegg. Ulfa FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihail Pânzaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Loren Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Valentin in the 34th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ulfa FSV defense, Mihail Pânzaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosmo Abegg. The Ulfa FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosmo Abegg should have stopped the shot. Mihail Pânzaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosmo Abegg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihail Pânzaru ran back to his position shaking his head. Cosmo Abegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Pânzaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 59th minute of the match Ulfa FSV got a corner. Pegaso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Umbach ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cosmo Abegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Pânzaru in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Mihail Pânzaru made a precise shot to the right of Cosmo Abegg. Ulfa FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Jairo Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cosmo Abegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Pânzaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosmo Abegg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihail Pânzaru ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 67th minute of play forced Ulfa FSV's goalkeeper Cosmo Abegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loren Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedrich Hölderlin in the 71st minute of the match. Cosmo Abegg made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Mihail Pânzaru sent off a good shot on target. Pegaso's Loren Prats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Umbach in the 75th minute of play. If Mihail Pânzaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cosmo Abegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Pânzaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Ulfa FSV's Cosmo Abegg got control of the ball when Mihail Pânzaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Umbach took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Loren Prats. Pegaso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cosmo Abegg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihail Pânzaru's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Peter Esterházy struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Loren Prats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ulfa FSV. The Ulfa FSV manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pegaso to win.
