An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Vik in the 10th minute of play forced Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Mota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Villiam Askelöf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Igor Mota notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Woopbongo's Villiam Askelöf. Villiam Askelöf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Bandeca FC's Caio de Salles got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Edgar Albohm sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Guaberto Gamus threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Edgar Albohm this time. Lars Vik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Guaberto Gamus made a huge save. In the 24th minute Igor Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Woopbongo getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Peder Sundberg hit a great ball. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Rydelius in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabin Lièvin during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Woopbongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabin Lièvin to maneuver through the defense. Flávio Arósio made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Igor Mota immediately put the ball in play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Vik was the one to do the kick off. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Vik in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Vik came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Vik in the 57th minute of play forced Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio de Salles's late challenge caught a Woopbongo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márcio de Salles helped the player get up and apologised. Márcio de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Bandeca FC's Caetano Azevedo was substituted for Luiz Gustavo Couto. In the 60th minute, Márcio de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabin Lièvin didn't quite understand what happened when in the 61 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 65 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Gerdberg came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Albohm in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Azevedo. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lars Vik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woopbongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Vik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Gamus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute Lars Vik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Albohm in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Edgar Albohm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Guaberto Gamus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Edgar Albohm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guaberto Gamus. Bandeca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Albohm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Woopbongo fully deserved thier win.
