An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Hendrickx in the 8th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pilar FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godofredo Lano in the 9th minute. A collision led to Pilar FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Aukusti Malinen hit a great ball. Pilar FC's Sixto Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Antti Ani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strömsbro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Antti Ani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Luke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Cristian Jenaro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Pilar FC's Silvain Ries managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hamid Dame in the 24 minute of the game. Sixto Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Papapetrou came free, but Sixto Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
