Emīls Umbrass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Haiko Muradyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicolaas Anelka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's Haiko Muradyan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's Haiko Muradyan got control of the ball when Emīls Umbrass tried to sneak it across the goal line. Júlio Vaz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zecku's goalie and right to Constantino Ramond. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zecku's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Nicolaas Anelka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolaas Anelka in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petre Encuțescu saved Zecku from getting behind. Cássio Rocks received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haiko Muradyan came out and tried to block the shot, but Cássio Rocks slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Evarado in the 38th minute of play forced Zecku's goalkeeper Petre Encuțescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Zecku's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolaas Anelka came free, but Petre Encuțescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn booed when Zecku was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candido Evarado struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Petre Encuțescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn. In the 47th minute, Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ivor Peake fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Zecku made a substitution. Isidoro Manilan replaced Amadeo Pudes. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolaas Anelka to make the kick off. Haiko Muradyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Vaz in the 54th minute of play. After 65 minutes Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilfredo Lazcano who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Zecku's corner Wilfredo Lazcano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haiko Muradyan quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Evarado got free with Petre Encuțescu in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st match minute, Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazid Guinaudeau to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn got a freekick which was hit by Yazid Guinaudeau. In the 77th minute, Ladislao Inocente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haiko Muradyan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Rocks's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Zecku's Wilfredo Lazcano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Haiko Muradyan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Rocks in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haiko Muradyan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's Tilemachos Mitropoulos got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Ivor Peake came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Zecku fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivor Peake couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's Yazid Guinaudeau got a free kick in the 95th minute. Cenan Tuğser kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Zecku's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
