FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olcay Bozkurt in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match RO Army V55 got a corner. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zhao Xun Jun ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Giorgos Kalantas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki did a great save. In the 20th play minute Olcay Bozkurt came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Baldomiro Txindoki. 1-1. Vinícius Junior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Baldomiro Txindoki made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olcay Bozkurt in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Txindoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orçun Yalınalp in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandros Iordanidis saved RO Army V55 from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 33rd minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Alexandros Iordanidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by RO Army V55's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Petrică Cândreanu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Petrică Cândreanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RO Army V55's Alexandros Iordanidis did a great save. Iosif Cupșa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Baldomiro Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olcay Bozkurt might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomiro Txindoki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olcay Bozkurt ran back to his position shaking his head. Baldomiro Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olcay Bozkurt in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Olcay Bozkurt came free, but Baldomiro Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match, Olcay Bozkurt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baldomiro Txindoki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 43rd minute Orçun Yalınalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Iordanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Iosif Cupșa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RO Army V55's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC UNIREA Alba Iulia the free kick. After 44 played minutes RO Army V55 got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Cupșa. 45 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Orçun Yalınalp came free, but Alexandros Iordanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orçun Yalınalp to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when RO Army V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestoras Karabidakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petrică Cândreanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandros Iordanidis. RO Army V55's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match RO Army V55 got a corner. Baldomiro Txindoki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Olcay Bozkurt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Txindoki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Olcay Bozkurt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RO Army V55 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Qian Chao Tian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandros Iordanidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Alexandros Iordanidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Luican went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Qian Chao Tian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Alexandros Iordanidis made a huge save. Baldomiro Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olcay Bozkurt in the 79th minute of play. Olcay Bozkurt struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Baldomiro Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RO Army V55. Baldomiro Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Ugutz in the 84th minute of play. Alexandros Iordanidis made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Qian Chao Tian sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Ugutz in the 88th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Ugutz took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Txindoki. Baldomiro Txindoki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Baldomiro Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Ugutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RO Army V55.
