Wilson Arósio scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Iztal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Iztal was a little too slow when Orçun Yalınalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 12 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Demario. Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 13th minute of play. Baldomiro Txindoki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristo Elia went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Joaquim Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Txindoki having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Cutberto in the 23rd minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Arotza in the 29th minute of play. Jorge Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Luican, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Eric Luican scored 3-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Iztal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Aaron Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal got control of the ball when Petrică Cândreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Fernandes in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petrică Cândreanu.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aaron Cutberto to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orçun Yalınalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Cutberto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Baldomiro Txindoki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 58 played minutes FC UNIREA Alba Iulia got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Arósio. Aaron Cutberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Baldomiro Txindoki made a huge save. In the 62nd minute Espirillo FC were awarded a corner. Aaron Cutberto went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Espirillo FC's corner Aaron Cutberto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baldomiro Txindoki quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 64th minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Orçun Yalınalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Iztal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orçun Yalınalp's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orçun Yalınalp in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Iztal saved Espirillo FC from getting behind. Baldomiro Txindoki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Cutberto in the 73rd minute. A hard shot 74 in the game by Aaron Cutberto from a close distance when the talented Baldomiro Txindoki managed to make a qualified save. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players were relieved. Jorge Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Luican, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Baldomiro Txindoki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Cutberto in the 77th minute. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting a goal against them. Aaron Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Espirillo FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rico Migachev hit a great ball. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
