Benigno Cordeara was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Benigno Cordeara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egil Åhman. Benigno Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Christiansen in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Christiansen in the 13th minute of play forced Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Benigno Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Ekedalen SK's Anders Christiansen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benigno Cordeara. Benigno Cordeara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, one of Patricio Rey Futbol Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Patricio Rey Futbol Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Bejenaru in the 28th minute of play forced Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Benigno Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Cordeara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Bejenaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Bejenaru in the 31st minute of play forced Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Benigno Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Anders Christiansen could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Benigno Cordeara however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Teofilo Hustaz got a free kick in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 程建正 to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Afraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Cordeara having to interfere. Benigno Cordeara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Afraga went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Benigno Cordeara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Åhman in the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Patricio Rey Futbol Club defense, Egil Åhman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Cordeara. The Patricio Rey Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Cordeara should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Tomas Nyström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benigno Cordeara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Benigno Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Christiansen in the 82nd minute of play. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Godfredo Fero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paulo Renato Dionísio but with some difficulty. Benigno Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Åhman in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Ekedalen SK's Egil Åhman made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Cordeara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saturnino Harri hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes, Ekedalen SK's Christer Eklund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benigno Cordeara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ekedalen SK reached it.
