Augusto Arnalt kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's zone, Raphael Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Enaut came out of the goal and Raphael Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Vinicio Junior hit a great ball. Arsenio Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Anselmo Oton came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Oton couldn't finish the play. David Seaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Ongile in the 26th minute. Severino Enaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Seaman made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Feliciano Ongile sent off a good shot on target. Feliciano Ongiles short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got David Seaman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Feliciano Ongile came free and shot a quick shot against goal 33 minutes in the game, fortunately David Seaman had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Feliciano Ongile in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Seaman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Herauso in the 37th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Carlos Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Enaut having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Ongile to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Raphael Cunha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Severino Enaut. That made the score 0-1 in the 59 minute of play. Severino Enaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Junior in the 70th minute of play forced TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goalkeeper Severino Enaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Junior received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino Enaut came out and tried to block the shot, but Vinicio Junior slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 88th minute. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Severino Enaut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 from getting a goal against them. After 92 played minutes TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Arnalt. The long shot by Arsenio Gipuzkoa in the 93rd minute really tested Severino Enaut's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the final whistle sounded Jenipapo SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1.
