Severino Enaut was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusko Zubicoeta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. With an all-out effort, EBK's Severino Enaut threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eusko Zubicoeta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anselmo Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Quexada having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, EBK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Omero to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Luciano Herauso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EBK the free kick. In the 18th match minute, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Herauso to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Quexada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Truylos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Ladislao Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, EBK's James Rodriguez got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Anselmo Oton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Quexada showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcelo Quexada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EBK's Cornelio Omero got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner ended in Anselmo Oton almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EBK's Marcelo Quexada did a great save. A hard shot 39 in the game by Cornelio Omero from a close distance when the talented Severino Enaut managed to make a qualified save. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's players were relieved. 41 minutes into the match, EBK's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Ongile came free, but Marcelo Quexada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusko Zubicoeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Severino Enaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anselmo Oton in the 46th minute. The supporters of EBK booed when TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Sayveon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Omero to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Abel Oriche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 and the EBK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Abel Oriche hit a great ball. Severino Enaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Omero, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's zone, Laurin Marote stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Enaut came out of the goal and Laurin Marote tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Omero came free, but Severino Enaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 69th minute of the match Abel Oriche completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Abel Oriche a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Feliciano Ongile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Marcelo Quexada made a huge save. With a little luck, EBK's Marcelo Quexada got control of the ball when Feliciano Ongile tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by EBK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anselmo Oton was slow to take the kick. During this time TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Anselmo Oton almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EBK's Marcelo Quexada did a great save. Feliciano Ongile came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelo Quexada could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Eusko Zubicoeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. EBK's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusko Zubicoeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Enaut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Enaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusko Zubicoeta in the 81st minute of play. After 82 minutes TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cornelio Omero who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Betinho Carvalho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Severino Enaut did a great save. 86 minutes into the match, EBK's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Sayveon came free, but Marcelo Quexada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 booed when EBK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Pantea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Ongile to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Martínez de Aldunate charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Martínez de Aldunate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes EBK got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Martínez de Aldunate. Feliciano Ongile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Marcelo Quexada made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for EBK.
