Ferenc Beckenbauer hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Márton Gombos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Arano in the 11th minute of play. Kálmán Mbappè sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Klas Collin fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Savaria's protests and gave Klas Collin a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting Savaria! Sporting Savaria were furious when Mustafa Orhan Gezer was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Sporting Savaria getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mustafa Orhan Gezer hit a great ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Alajos McAllister who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antiguos FC v2.0's Daniele Paolini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute of the match, Adorján Mónos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniele Paolini was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alajos McAllister hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Severino Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Romero in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Márton Gombos saved Sporting Savaria from getting behind. Heiki Uustal took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniele Paolini. Daniele Paolini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Arano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Amado Restu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Márton Gombos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Daniele Paolini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lajos Laczkó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Márton Gombos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Lajos Laczkó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Márton Gombos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amado Restu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. Márton Gombos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Romero in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Antiguos FC v2.0 were awarded a corner. Salvador Arano went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Rudolph Flege managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 70 minutes into the game, Sporting Savaria's Heiki Uustal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniele Paolini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 73rd minute Heiki Uustal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Paolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Márton Gombos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Restu. Antiguos FC v2.0 made a substitution. Gaspar Cruz replaced Severino Romero. Chants of Antiguos FC v2.0 echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sporting Savaria had held the ball for most of the match.
