With a little luck, Les Tigres's Gonzo Maradona got control of the ball when Nojus Bikas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Kings defense, Venancio Prejun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haşim Batüralp. The Kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haşim Batüralp should have stopped the shot. Edgaras Jankauskas's late challenge caught a Les Tigres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgaras Jankauskas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Les Tigres booed when Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgaras Jankauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the game Lars Rönn made a throw-in which Serafino Pestaña played forward. Nojus Bikas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gonzo Maradona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Kings's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Prejun came free, but Haşim Batüralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Les Tigres's Venancio Prejun got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Les Tigres's Enzo Vezin was substituted for Rodolfo Luken. Les Tigres's Ömer-Asaf Güneş was substituted for Venancio Prejun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nojus Bikas in the 53rd minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Gonzo Maradona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kings's Bob Grammet was substituted for Edgaras Jankauskas. Haşim Batüralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Võsandi in the 61st minute of the match. Edvard Võsandi in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Haşim Batüralp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gonzo Maradona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nojus Bikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Kings's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer-Asaf Güneş came free, but Haşim Batüralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grzegorz Sokolski made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kings's Håkon Bjernemose. A collision led to Kings getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. J.P. Daniel hit a great ball. Haşim Batüralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Võsandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Les Tigres were awarded a corner. Severino Estevez went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Luboš Štencl managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nojus Bikas in the 79th minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Gonzo Maradona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ömer-Asaf Güneş in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haşim Batüralp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Figo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Nojus Bikas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzo Maradona. Les Tigres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nojus Bikas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. In the 95th match minute, Les Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Sokolski to maneuver through the defense. Gonzo Maradona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nojus Bikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kings's J.P. Daniel got a free kick in the 97th minute. When Ömer-Asaf Güneş came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Les Tigres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömer-Asaf Güneş couldn't finish the play. Les Tigres's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
