Alain Duarte made a great header on Green Hell F.C.'s corner, it was just that AJAX's Igor Zambujal managed to reach the ball for a save. Ralf Västerstrand scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Zambujal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by AJAX's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Igor Zambujal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Maciej Jankowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Jankowski in the 38th minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Fan Guang Lin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Zambujal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigoris Grigoriadis's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigoris Grigoriadis got free with Igor Zambujal in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cosme Cordarryl fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AJAX's protests and gave Cosme Cordarryl a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes AJAX got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Manso. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Västerstrand was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralf Västerstrand in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Zambujal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute of the match Green Hell F.C. got a corner. AJAX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alain Duarte ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Green Hell F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alain Duarte hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Fan Guang Lin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maciej Jankowski. In the 65th minute of the match AJAX got a corner. Green Hell F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bedri Aydıntan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bedri Aydıntan made a great header on AJAX's corner, it was just that Green Hell F.C.'s Fan Guang Lin managed to reach the ball for a save. AJAX's Cosme Cordarryl managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alain Duarte in the 69 minute of the game. After some careless play in the AJAX defense, Ralf Västerstrand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Zambujal. The AJAX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Zambujal should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, AJAX's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Västerstrand came free, but Igor Zambujal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of AJAX:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Green Hell F.C.:s goal. Alain Duarte did an outstanding performance 79 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 5-0 to the right of an irritated Igor Zambujal in the goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Ralf Västerstrand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AJAX's Igor Zambujal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rikard Björkdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Zambujal having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Västerstrand in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Zambujal saved AJAX from getting behind. Green Hell F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
