The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Alptuğ Rahim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 15th minute Bruce Austruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahap Tezcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Emrah Neba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songur Karataş in the 17th minute of play. Gaspar Pelayo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vahap Tezcan. Vahap Tezcan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 25th minute, Akçadağ FK's Bruce Austruy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vahap Tezcan. Vahap Tezcan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Vahap Tezcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Apetroaiei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match Akçadağ FK got a corner. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miroslav Ivánek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Miroslav Ivánek made a great header on Akçadağ FK's corner, it was just that ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Vahap Tezcan managed to reach the ball for a save. 33 minutes into the match, Akçadağ FK's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Yavuz came free, but Mehmet Emrah Neba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü booed when Akçadağ FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kayhan Ünsan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vahap Tezcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Austruy in the 37th minute of the match. Gaspar Pelayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from İlyas Başarman in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Akçadağ FK's Mateo Frechoso. If George Apetroaiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mateo Frechoso kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Gürsel Çelenkoğlu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Akçadağ FK. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Pelayo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Songur Karataş took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Mehmet Emrah Neba to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th minute George Apetroaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahap Tezcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Vahap Tezcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Ivánek in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miroslav Ivánek who took care of the corner kick. Miroslav Ivánek made a great header on Akçadağ FK's corner, it was just that ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Vahap Tezcan managed to reach the ball for a save. Vahap Tezcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Pelayo in the 65th minute of the match. When Akçadağ FK's Bruce Austruy in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü defense, George Apetroaiei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vahap Tezcan. The ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vahap Tezcan should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Pelayo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vahap Tezcan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Akçadağ FK's Mehmet Emrah Neba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Akçadağ FK from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, George Apetroaiei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vahap Tezcan. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Apetroaiei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Vahap Tezcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Apetroaiei in the 90th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Gaspar Pelayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahap Tezcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akçadağ FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
