The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Ralf Västerstrand notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Vahap Tezcan. Vahap Tezcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nejat Kotuz during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nejat Kotuz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Ralf Västerstrand made a precise shot to the right of Vahap Tezcan. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Nejat Kotuz got his second yellow card of the match in the 13th minute. The referee ordered Nejat Kotuz off the ground. Nejat Kotuz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Ralf Västerstrand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Vahap Tezcan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Green Hell F.C.'s Ralf Västerstrand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vahap Tezcan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Vahap Tezcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoris Grigoriadis in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Ralf Västerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahap Tezcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alptuğ Rahim made a kick off. After some careless play in the ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü defense, Ralf Västerstrand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vahap Tezcan. The ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vahap Tezcan should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's goalkeeper Vahap Tezcan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Gaffar Özer got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's goalkeeper Vahap Tezcan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralf Västerstrand. After a defensive mix-up in ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's zone, Ralf Västerstrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vahap Tezcan came out of the goal and Ralf Västerstrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vahap Tezcan was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Ralf Västerstrand capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ralf Västerstrand really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Vahap Tezcan made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ralf Västerstrand sent off a good shot on target. Green Hell F.C. played a much better game than ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü and deserved their victory. The ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
