Laureano Shantala hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem-Jan Grootjans in the 12th minute of play forced Jurupeba FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Abdi Mehmet Rakim managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Everett Hawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdi Mehmet Rakim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrício Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Ludo Vanden Bossche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thorkil Husig's late challenge caught a The Everett Hawks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thorkil Husig helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Jurupeba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorkil Husig to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Willem-Jan Grootjans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrício Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willem-Jan Grootjans, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Breckenfeld in the 28th minute of play. Fabrício Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 32nd minute of the match. Martin Minchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrício Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 43rd minute of play. Fabrício Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fre van Eijnde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Jurupeba FC's Ludo Vanden Bossche threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martin Minchev, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Ludo Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Minchev in the 51st minute of the match. Fabrício Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Beto Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludo Vanden Bossche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludo Vanden Bossche came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Jurupeba FC's Beto Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Beto Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Martin Minchev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludo Vanden Bossche having to make a save. After having played for 80 minutes, Abdi Mehmet Rakim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Everett Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdi Mehmet Rakim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Everett Hawks's Andy Van Aghten was substituted for Philip Goorts. 84 minutes into the match, Beto Breckenfeld notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche. Ludo Vanden Bossche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ludo Vanden Bossche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Minchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Jurupeba FC's Beto Breckenfeld got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Jurupeba FC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jurupeba FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Everett Hawks had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
