Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian-Federico Dolić in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tales Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabino Brites in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guo Han Di saved Oldham Athletic from getting behind. Tales Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Yao Ying in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Imperio Cordobés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian-Federico Dolić came free, but Tales Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian-Federico Dolić in the 22nd minute of play forced Imperio Cordobés FC's goalkeeper Tales Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Isaias Fonda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imperio Cordobés FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oldham Athletic the free kick. After 24 played minutes Imperio Cordobés FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Fonda. Valter Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Falcão having to interfere. Sabino Brites received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Guo Han Di tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sabino Brites's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guo Han Di was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 38 minutes Oldham Athletic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfonso Mel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Imperio Cordobés FC's corner Alfonso Mel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guo Han Di quite easily take care of the ball. Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Imperio Cordobés FC defense, Braulio Hodei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tales Falcão. The Imperio Cordobés FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tales Falcão should have stopped the shot. Sabino Brites fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guo Han Di having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Fonda was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Cristian-Federico Dolić tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tales Falcão saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Imperio Cordobés FC's Isaias Fonda in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tales Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian-Federico Dolić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oldham Athletic's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filippo Bobbio in the 69th minute. Nils-Åke Borre hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Oldham Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Valter Abrahamsson. Guo Han Di showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Fonda in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tales Falcão. Tales Falcão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Tales Falcão made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Sune Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 81st minute of play forced Imperio Cordobés FC's goalkeeper Tales Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Imperio Cordobés FC's goalkeeper Tales Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhao Yao Ying. 87 minutes into the match, Imperio Cordobés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Yao Ying came free, but Tales Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tales Falcão was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sune Axelsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 94 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Oldham Athletic left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Imperio Cordobés FC.
