The audience thought a goal was coming when Serter Usal got free with Asmund Marchorst in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keramettin İshak's late challenge caught a Muten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keramettin İshak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Keramettin İshak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Muten's Ridouane Palermo in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Marino İdman Yurdu's goalie prevented a goal. But to his dismay, Ridouane Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Serhat Özakın kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Carmelo Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Rodas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ridouane Palermo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Serter Usal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmund Marchorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Marino İdman Yurdu's Ahmet Necdet Secavend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ridouane Palermo in the 58th minute of play. Prospero Orlan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Necdet Secavend when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Necdet Secavend was a little too slow when Ridouane Palermo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 71st minute Hilario Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Necdet Secavend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Muten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Ugutz to maneuver through the defense. After 75 minutes, Prospero Orlan made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. San Marino İdman Yurdu's Ahmet Necdet Secavend tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Muten's Prudencio Turi was substituted for Carmelo Rodas. When Muten's Ridouane Palermo in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
