In the 22nd minute of the match Herblay got a corner. San Marino İdman Yurdu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dimitri Bougault ran over to the corner to take the kick. 28 minutes into the match, Herblay's Léon Monnet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Necdet Secavend narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Dimitri Bougault almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Marino İdman Yurdu's Ahmet Necdet Secavend did a great save. Léon Monnet might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Necdet Secavend. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Léon Monnet ran back to his position shaking his head. Noureddine Gerbeau kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Zhuang Bo Liang took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ludomil Kajdasz. Herblay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Necdet Secavend made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Léon Monnet sent off a good shot on target. Norbert Cadart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Necdet Secavend having to interfere. Ahmet Necdet Secavend showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léon Monnet in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Momčilo Janič was the one to do the kick off. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Marino İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Secavend, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 91 played minutes, San Marino İdman Yurdu's Zhuang Bo Liang shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ludomil Kajdasz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Marino İdman Yurdu reached it. Serter Usal struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ludomil Kajdasz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Marino İdman Yurdu. Antonin Dagorne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ahmet Necdet Secavend tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The San Marino İdman Yurdu players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Herblay from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
