Damian Majewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benne Cider. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Majewski ran back to his position shaking his head. Benne Cider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Majewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Majewski in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benne Cider prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute GÓRNIK PSZÓW were awarded a corner. Don Luis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Elvin Sexton got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 19 minutes into the match. Damian Majewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Majewski in the 23rd minute of play forced Lobster if's goalkeeper Benne Cider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Boal during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lobster if's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helge Trillkott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Majewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damian Majewski had several of the Lobster if's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. With an all-out effort, GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Benne Cider threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damian Majewski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of GÓRNIK PSZÓW booed when Lobster if was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Tătaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GÓRNIK PSZÓW would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
