FC Sarajevo City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rockets the free kick. In the 12th minute, William Lundblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dudu Madureira struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Diego Aloisi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockets. After 16th play minutes Nicklas Kruuse shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Geraldo Queiroz and just under the crossbar into goal. William Lundblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Geraldo Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Karol Joks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Sarajevo City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Joélson Melo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Diego Aloisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Edu Mangueira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The corner led FC Sarajevo City's Ahmed Lazović to fire away a dangerous shot which Geraldo Queiroz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ahmed Lazović succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 35th playminute. In the 43rd minute, FC Sarajevo City's Karol Joks dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. After a rather tough play, FC Sarajevo City's William Lundblad got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute Dudu Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Aloisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicklas Kruuse to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Lundblad in the 52nd minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper Geraldo Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valério Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Joks in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rockets's Geraldo Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Lundblad in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to FC Sarajevo City getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sead Baljak hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Nicklas Kruuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
