Alaaddin Aras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Brandin in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, BAFRA 55's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Bogren came free, but Alaaddin Aras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bizen Eguia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Avantgarde booed when BAFRA 55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Scobioalã didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game İzzettin Konuralp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avantgarde's Ben Foster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute of the match BAFRA 55 got a corner. Avantgarde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maxim Scobioalã ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mustafa Birol Gazir hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Avantgarde getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Inge Jönsson hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bizen Eguia got free with Ben Foster in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alaaddin Aras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Brandin's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Carl Brandin made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Avantgarde's goal looked a bit too open when Bizen Eguia came free, but Ben Foster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güney Kutunalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ben Foster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güney Kutunalp in the 63rd minute of play forced Avantgarde's goalkeeper Ben Foster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Foster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bizen Eguia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Avantgarde getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Sven-Arne Salqvist hit a great ball. Avantgarde's Ben Foster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Scobioalã in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Brandin got free with Alaaddin Aras in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Greger Bogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaaddin Aras having to interfere. Avantgarde's Ben Foster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İzzettin Konuralp in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Güney Kutunalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Güney Kutunalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ben Foster having to make a save. Carl Brandin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaaddin Aras having to interfere. The Avantgarde players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented BAFRA 55 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
