An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Vidal in the 3rd minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Mario Klompe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Charilaos Bogdanos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mario Klompe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 8 minutes of play, Imperio Académico's Luciano Vidal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Klompe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mario Klompe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gert Kroeze kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Luciano Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Ismael Jerrold put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Mario Klompe. When Imperio Académico's Ismael Jerrold in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Tab in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Jerrold in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Klompe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mario Klompe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Arjan van Zijp charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arjan van Zijp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arjan van Zijp kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Luciano Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Klompe. Zijdewind SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After the first half Imperio Académico were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franck Tinge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Imperio Académico fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Imperio Académico's Luciano Vidal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 55 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Mario Klompe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Tab. Mario Klompe stood somewhat misplaced when Ismael Jerrold came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 56 minute. Imperio Académico's Amador Igon was substituted for Luciano Vidal. In the 60th minute, Amador Igon made a precise shot to the right of Mario Klompe. Zijdewind SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. 68 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Mario Klompe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charilaos Bogdanos. After 69 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Henry Lembeck. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Ismael Jerrold sped through Zijdewind SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mario Klompe. Imperio Académico made a substitution. Cirilo Cugat replaced Ismael Jerrold. Jesus Quiroga was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. Jesus Quiroga hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match Daniël De Leeuw sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Clis skillfully saved the ball. Cirilo Cugat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Klompe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Hilario Tab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio Académico's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Tab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Klompe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Imperio Académico's Cirilo Cugat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. In the 94th minute Ferdi Dekens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
