After 16 minutes of play, Rua da Pinga's Júlio Fragoso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Grep was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lars Grep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Fragoso in the 19th minute of play. Börje Isaksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but 朱延岩 made a huge save. Börje Isaksson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 20th playminute. Börje Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. 朱延岩 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börje Isaksson's late challenge caught a Rua da Pinga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Börje Isaksson helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Besiktas got a freekick which was hit by Börje Isaksson. 25 minutes into the match, Besiktas's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Karpinski came free, but Lars Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Tim Lindström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Besiktas and the Rua da Pinga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lars Grep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Karpinski in the 29th minute of the match. Júlio Fragoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rua da Pinga booed when Besiktas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Forss didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Cezary Karpinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rua da Pinga's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Karpinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Grep breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Rua da Pinga fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Rua da Pinga's Júlio Fragoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 42 minutes into the match, Cezary Karpinski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars Grep. Besiktas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezary Karpinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Cezary Karpinski hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börje Isaksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lars Grep stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezary Karpinski's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. With splendid footwork Cezary Karpinski arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-6 by the left pole in the game's 55th minute. Cezary Karpinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Grep. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cezary Karpinski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd match minute, Besiktas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Granström to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Cezary Karpinski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lars Grep, 1-9. Lars Grep made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Júlio Fragoso sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Júlio Fragoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Grep was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-10. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Boñar during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Besiktas got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Boñar. In the 94th minute, Cezary Karpinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Grep was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-11. When the match was over Rua da Pinga could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Besiktas throughout the match.
