After a rather tough play, Besiktas's Sven Björk got a free kick in the 13th minute. The Besiktas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorel Lupșe should have stopped the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fang Lang Mo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Talleres de Escalada's Fang Lang Mo managed to work through Besiktas's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fang Lang Mo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Magnus Kihlman took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafin Bernal. Serafin Bernal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Dorel Lupșe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Monico went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute Ismael Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Besiktas's Dorel Lupșe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Besiktas from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Besiktas's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Monico came free, but Dorel Lupșe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attilio Casciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorel Lupșe having to make a save. Fang Lang Mo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorel Lupșe. Dorel Lupșe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. In the 92ndth minute of the game Fang Lang Mo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Besiktas's Dorel Lupșe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dorel Lupșe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fang Lang Mo in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Besiktas getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Magnus Kihlman hit a great ball. The Talleres de Escalada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Talleres de Escalada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
