Avelino Amado kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fiery Chargers's Hélio Malheiro got a free kick in the 14th minute. It was beautiful to see Gotham Saray FC's Ole Beer in action when he in the 16th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 18 minutes into the match, Gotham Saray FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrósio Gonçalves came free, but Iljaz Çela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Eduardo Dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiery Chargers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Gotham Saray FC's goalkeeper Iljaz Çela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Fontão. Gotham Saray FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Ambrósio Gonçalves scored to the left of an out of position Iljaz Çela, making the score, 2-0. 27 minutes into the game, Rogério Varanda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiery Chargers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gotham Saray FC the free kick. After 27 played minutes Fiery Chargers got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Varanda. Gotham Saray FC's Iljaz Çela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avelino Amado in the 33rd minute of play. Clemente de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Cremer-Ricken in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Cremer-Ricken in the 40th minute of play forced Fiery Chargers's goalkeeper Clemente de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Fiery Chargers getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ivó Duarte hit a great ball.

Fiery Chargers's Clemente de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Fiery Chargers from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halil Ratkowski got free with Clemente de Godoi in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
