The crowd rose to their feet as Baby Snakes's Nils Bohr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Eduardo Galvão. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Igor Porto struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ron Tomkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aesir FC FSCMZ. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Bohr in the 22nd minute of the match. Teofilo Unai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Ron Tomkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo de Brito in the 35th minute of play. After some careless play in the Baby Snakes defense, Dalmo de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ron Tomkin. The Baby Snakes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ron Tomkin should have stopped the shot. Teofilo Unai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a huge save. When Igor Porto came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Aesir FC FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Porto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Bohr in the 44th minute of play forced Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão got control of the ball when Teofilo Unai tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Unai to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 63rdth minute of the game Teofilo Unai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Unai in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute of the match, Osmar Marinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ron Tomkin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 67 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Berger. Baby Snakes made a substitution. İnanç Özben replaced Nils Bohr. Ernesto Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Dalmo de Brito got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 74 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Igor Porto. 79 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when İnanç Özben came free, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osmar Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
