Mounir Perry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sina Puro in the 32nd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, FC NagelBitarna's Sina Puro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mounir Perry narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, FC NagelBitarna's goal looked a bit too open when Léon Cailleaux came free, but Piotr Giejda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roncourt were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after FC NagelBitarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horácio Larreta took the corner. The corner led Roncourt's Horácio Larreta to fire away a dangerous shot which Piotr Giejda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roncourt's Léon Cailleaux got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sina Puro was the one to do the kick off. The nice shot from J.P. Kapar in the 53rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Piotr Giejda had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Roncourt were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after FC NagelBitarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horácio Larreta took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when J.P. Kapar got free with Piotr Giejda in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute Léon Cailleaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Giejda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Giejda made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when J.P. Kapar sent off a good shot on target. J.P. Kapar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Piotr Giejda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Sina Puro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC NagelBitarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Sina Puro came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the FC NagelBitarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sina Puro couldn't finish the play. FC NagelBitarna's Piotr Giejda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Marc Kazmierczak in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, FC NagelBitarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Månsson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Roncourt's zone, Sina Puro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mounir Perry came out of the goal and Sina Puro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as J.P. Kapar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Piotr Giejda. That made the score 2-1 in the 91 minute of play. In the 94th match minute, FC NagelBitarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Fridlund to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC NagelBitarna's zone, J.P. Kapar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Giejda came out of the goal and J.P. Kapar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC NagelBitarna's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
