After 22 played minutes Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely got a freekick which was hit by Jerrald Caldera. In the 23rd minute, Ladislao Bela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, BANDOLEIROS osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián-Daniel Dobre came free, but Karl Pilgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Mihăiţă Stolniceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl Pilgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Billy Sandström took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Lyle Coppack to make any attempt to save it. Karl Pilgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián-Daniel Dobre in the 36th minute of play. Karl Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Pilgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián-Daniel Dobre in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fábio Guimarães was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, BANDOLEIROS osasco's Karl Pilgren got control of the ball when Luiz Fábio Guimarães tried to sneak it across the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely reached it. Carlos Mei's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Karl Pilgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Paul Crouch, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 85th minute Peter Paul Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Coppack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on BANDOLEIROS osasco's corner Benedito Valentim fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lyle Coppack quite easily take care of the ball. Karl Pilgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Mei in the 89th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Miromir Hajto in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Patrik De Roost.
